I'm experiencing hand issues now. I have tightening in the ligaments and a lump on palm. Dr gave me cortisone shots in my wrist and 2 knuckles. Didn't help much. Now I'm scheduled to have the lump removed to loosen the ligaments running to my fingers.

I have problems with trigger finger sometimes. But its from an old injury. When it happens, I have to manually make it release manipulating the joint a little.

Hi Athena. I'm sorry you're having that pain. I don't know if the pain I get is the same you are talking about, but with my rheumatoid arthritis, sometimes one or more of my fingers or my wrist, will swell, I can't move them, and the pain is like my bones and joints are in a vice, or oddly kind of feels like something is inside my hand eating away at my bones. It's like pressure and pain and heat that will radiate to an extreme pain, then ease up some, and then a wave will hit it again. I can't even hardly touch them when it's like that. It lasts for a couple days or so and then the pain slowly goes away.
Does that sound anything like you're experiencing? Have you been diagnosed with RA? I hope this at least gives you some comfort that you're not alone in your odd pains, whether it's the same ailment or another all together. I hope you can find some relief and figure out what is happening.
