Hello, I was on Hydroxychloroquine 100mg for 5 months during that time I did have "itchiness" and ignored it. When I was increased to 200mg daily I started to have ringing in my ears about after 2 months of being on the increased dose. Itchiness worsened like I had something crawling in my skin. This was an allergic reaction so I was decreased to 100mg then discontinued a week after. I have been off of the medication for 3 weeks and the ringing has lessened but has not gone away. This may not go away according to the Dr.'s. I have an ENT appointment to look further into this condition. On a Good Note the itchiness has gone away.
It's always best to consult with your Dr., to see what they recommend for your diagnosis and symptoms.
