I use Vanicream. For me it works very well on dry itchy skin. It's also made for people with skin conditions, so there are no perfumes or other irritating properties.

My skin gets very dry & itchy. It seems to be worse in the spring & summer. I apply Cerave moisturizing cream daily. It works quite well for me.
I hope you find a cream that works for you!💜

Yes, skin sensitivity and dryness are common symptoms of lupus. Many people with lupus experience various skin issues, including dryness, rashes, and sensitivity, particularly after sun exposure or showering. For moisturizing, look for products containing specific ingredients that dermatologists recommend for dry skin: dimethicone, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, lactic acid, lanolin, mineral oil, petrolatum, or shea butter. Choose creams rather than lotions, as they're typically more effective at locking in moisture. Apply moisturizer while your skin is still slightly damp for better absorption.

Remember to use fragrance-free products labeled "for sensitive skin" and avoid products containing alcohol, alpha hydroxy acid, or retinoids, as these can be too drying and cause irritation.
