Does anyone know what brand names are affected? I'm on several eye drops, both prescription and OTC and I know there are many others here in the same boat. See this article for more info: https://www.yahoo.com/news/thousands-of-eye-car...

Unfortunately, the provided search results don't contain information about current eye drop recalls. Since eye health is particularly important for people with lupus who may experience eye inflammation and dryness, it's crucial to know if your eye drops are affected by any recalls.

The best course of action would be to:
1. Contact your pharmacist directly with your specific eye drop brands to check if they're affected
2. Call your rheumatologist or ophthalmologist to discuss any concerns
3. Keep using your prescribed eye medications unless specifically told to stop by your healthcare provider, as suddenly stopping could worsen lupus-related eye symptoms If you need to verify the safety of your specific eye drops, write down the lot numbers from your bottles and bring them to your next pharmacy visit. Your pharmacist can check these against any current recall lists and help you find safe alternatives if needed.

@A MyLupusTeam Member It's not a specific brand name because the drops are distributed to many different stores

I hadn’t heard of this but the 2 sources didn’t really give much information-I was hoping for the brand names of the recalled products. Also, this announcement is just out, but it started in 2023? That’s not real helpful! That’s disturbing! I hope you, CheriN, have had no bad occurrences. Like you, I use several products, 2 prescriptions and 2 otc drops. I haven’t experienced anything problems yet so let’s hope the bad drops have been removed! Take care, everyone!💗💕🩷
