Oh yes. I have a wedge pillow I use to help elevate my legs. I have also used ice packs on my feet👣.

I don't get swelling in my ankles but i do get the swelling in my hands and wrists. I wear hand compression splints as it was creating pain for me related to carpal tunnel. But, I used to work home care and when patient's had swelling in the lower extremities I would tell them to ask their doctor about TED hose. You can buy them over the counter without a doctor's order. But keeping your legs elevated with a wedge is a great idea as well as the TED hose. You have to measure your calves and instep to get the right size. But these compression splints have really helped my pain and decreased the swelling in my hands. Please ask the doctor about this first as a lot of insurances do pay for TED Hose. TED hose also prevent blood clots in the calf area too as they prevent the blood from pooling and we Lupies tend to rest a lot and our blood may pool in our calves.

I'm on Prednisone right now and I feel worse on it than I did before. I just took myself off of it and wrote my rheumo that I think it interferes with my Cymbalta and Trazodone.
