My right leg is hurting me so bad that I am off of it and putting ice packs on it and taking acetaminophen 500 MG x2 q 6 hours per my doc but I am still in dire straits. What can I do
Yes, spinal issues can definitely cause leg pain and numbness. When spinal discs become worn, it can lead to pain that radiates down the legs, along with numbness and tingling sensations in the legs and buttocks. This happens because the damaged discs can put pressure on nearby nerves. While you're already following your Show Full Answer
Yes, Machel and @Dianna3-- nerve root impingement causing these symptoms can result from bone spurs due to arthritis or from herniated/bulging discs. I hope you get relief soon.
Machel, bulging or herniated discs can cause nerve root impingement, leading to leg pain. Arthritis can cause bone spur formation, and these can also pinch nerve roots.
I used to eat ginger. It's really good for nerve pain and tumeric too. Tumeric is constipating. Talk it over with your doctor. My carpal tunnel pain was level 8-9 and ginger got it down to a 1. I had to eliminate all carbs from my diet as that aggravated nerve pain. I am praying for you.
I'm dealing with that too. My spine has narrowed more from last scan and its almost like there is nothing they can do. I have herniated and bulging disc...lesions as well throughout entire spine -neck down. Nothing truly relieves it but trying to lose weight while learning how to sleep better and just keeping body moving.
We just started getting heay here in Illinois and im struggling moving around in it already.
God Bless us all!
