@A MyLupusTeam Member You are heard my dear warrior, syncopes suck, the fatigue is a pain in the derriere, you and I would love to run that annoying, misbehaved lupus out the house for good! Ha! Done! One problem less to deal with! 😃🤩Email me ANYTIME OF DAY if you'd like, I mean it, if I'm awake I'll answer, I'll try to check every couple hours: (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) I sincerely hope to hear from you, giving up is not the option Tim, through all of this I still greet little children, friendly adults who love exchanging a few kind words, birds, cats, dogs no matter how awful I feel. I felt so beat yesterday, wanted to give up, but then something unexpectedly nice happened; not everything is ugly, cruel, against us in God's beautiful world❤️💜 I'm not here to persuade you, I will not try and change your view. Thank you for sharing your raw emotions, I can handle that💜autoimmune disease and it's effects on our bodies can be overwhelming yes I agree, having someone to talk to who understands is a winning situation for both of us. I hope to hear from you soon. You're not alone, God's world is so big, HE created some people to be your friends, nowadays we have the means to connect worldwide, no matter where and how we are living. We embrace the opportunities we have, we are thankful for the gift of sharing, caring and what's perhaps far more important carrying the weight of chronic illness with you. All thanks goes to the Lord for gracing us with modern technology thus offering us new ways to connect and cope🙏🏽

It means you either had tiny strokes in the past or you could suffer from a condition called microangiopathy. @A MyLupusTeam Member you are probably eating an anti-inflammatory diet already I presume? You are probably avoiding white refined sugar and fast food, eating organic, vegan/vegetarian? Ingesting enough polyphenols?

This CT scan report shows that while you have some ongoing (chronic) changes in the small blood vessels of your brain, there are no immediate emergency concerns like bleeding or stroke. The headaches and other symptoms you're experiencing should still be discussed with your doctor, as they may be related to your lupus.

Here are the key findings explained in simple terms:
- No current bleeding in the brain
- No signs of a new stroke
- Some long-term changes in small blood vessels
- Previous small area of damage in part of the brain (thalamus)
- Skull is normal It's important to schedule a follow-up appointment with your healthcare provider to discuss these results and your symptoms. They can help determine if additional testing or treatment adjustments are needed, especially since headaches and neurological symptoms can be common with lupus.

Hey Tim, do you have any warning that the syncope is coming? Do you get lightheaded, feel faint and or weak… I have delayed OH. It doesn’t hit for several minutes after I stand up, usually when I’ve walked a bit but can happen several minutes after I get up.

Taking your BP when you start having symptoms (presyncope) and keeping a record of time, date, BP P, how long it lasted, how you were feeling/symptoms and what you were doing would be helpful for finding patterns.

I recently discovered I’m having hypotensive episodes in bed at night (67/24, 53). A contributing factor was a calcium channel blocker. Have you checked your medication side effects to see if any of them alone or together could cause hypotension?

I manage hypotension with fluids, salt, compression stockings and toning the muscles of my calves. Some of these may be helpful for you, check with your doctors.

Im 50 and seems like im going on 80. My horrible health journey started in 2022. My neurosurgeon upped my aspirin from 81mg to 325mg. I was diagnosed a few months ago with orthostatic hypotension. So they want my bp to run higher. Im seeing my nephrologist on Monday, and hopefully she can figure something out. If all my symptoms could give me a break for 24hrs, I would totally be thankful. In the past year I can count the number of good days on one hand.
