Sending you hugs to feel better. I rarely have flares any more, but found pressed juices really helpful, orange, apple, beets, pineapple, carrots and celery. If you have a juicer. Papaya is another anti inflammatory. Listening to nice music helps a lot. Maybe touch base with your Dr, as he may have some suggestions. I have dry mouth and dry eyes, but I found by tucking my tongue back more, I have plenty of saliva. Haven’t resolved the dry eyes. With no flares, I’m just not as tired, but my sleep is not deep. Working on that one.
I hope you can get some relief and feel better. I take Hydroxychloroquine 400 mg a day and weigh around 130, so it works for me. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Wendy, the drastic increase in fatigue is worrisome for a flare, so please see your doctor!!!
@JenniferAppel--Please be aware that the maximum recommended dose of HCQ to prevent retinal toxicity is 0.5 mg/kg of your body weight, Jennifer. So for you, 300 mg daily would be the most that's considered safe. These guidelines came out several years ago, but many doctors aren't yet aware. PLEASE talk to your doctor about this!!!
