It sounds like you're asking about recovery time after a surgical procedure involving the glute muscle. Unfortunately, the search results don't contain specific information about surgical recovery times for muscle removal procedures.

This type of surgery and its healing timeline would depend on many individual factors, including:

* The exact surgical technique used
* Your overall health and lupus disease activity
* Whether you're taking medications like corticosteroids that can affect wound healing
* Any complications during or after surgery

Recovery from muscle surgery typically involves wound healing (which can take weeks) followed by tissue repair and rehabilitation (which can take months). However, lupus and certain lupus medications can sometimes slow healing or increase infection risk.

It's really important to discuss your specific recovery timeline and expectations directly with your surgeon. They can give you personalized guidance based on your procedure and health status. If you're experiencing concerns about healing or unusual symptoms after surgery, contact your surgical team right away.

Did you ask your surgeon? I would write down the questions and get them answered before the surgery date so you feel comfortable with everything.

Unfortunately, it just takes a long time to heal anything. I had a biopsy on my leg and it took a year. You’re doing a surgery. That’s more intense on your body.
