Biossance....hands down the best skincare regimen for lupus related skin issues. This stuff is pricey but the quality is unmatched and a little goes a long way. Biossance get it on Amazon or Biossance. Com.

I use L'OREAL PARIS AGE PERFECT with broadspectrem sunscreen 25. It really helps moisturize my face and neck. Has a very light scent and I have no problem with it at all!!

What skincare products are safe to use on your face with lupus?

When you have lupus, choosing gentle, fragrance-free products is key since sensitive skin is common. Look for soaps and cleansers labeled "for sensitive skin" and avoid harsh ingredients that can dry out or irritate your face.

Ingredients to avoid include:
* Alcohol
* Alpha hydroxy acid
* Retinoids

These can be especially drying and may worsen skin sensitivity.

For moisturizing, dermatologists often recommend products with soothing ingredients like:
* Dimethicone
* Glycerin
* Hyaluronic acid
* Jojoba oil
* Shea butter
* Aloe vera gel

Apply moisturizer immediately after washing your face while skin is still slightly damp to lock in moisture. Ointments and creams typically work better than lotions, which may contain more water and potential irritants.

Before using any new product on your entire face, test it on a small spot twice daily for 7-10 days. If your skin doesn't become discolored, itchy, or swollen, it's likely safe to use.

A MyLupusTeam member shared success with an over-the-counter product called Prosacea, saying "it's the best thing I've used." Others have found relief with witch hazel or tea tree oil products.

Always check with your dermatologist before trying new treatments, especially if you're experiencing lupus-related facial rashes or other skin symptoms.
