Lidocaine patch is a great idea to try, @A MyLupusTeam Member! Thanks for bringing that up.

Heat and ice packs alternatively
Gentle stretching and movement to loosen the joint
Topicals with lidocaine
Tylenol 500 mg up to 4000 mg day
Alternate every four hours between
Tylenol and ibuprofen. I'd you do this make sure your taking each dose with 8oz of water
Cbd pearls, they offer pain relief for about 4 hours
Muscle relaxers especially if your having muscle spasms.
And as a last resort oxycodone but be careful this can be addicting, I only use 1-2 dose a month and only when I've exhausted everything else

On bad pain days, I use naproxen. However, a hot bath with epsom salt is the best thing with stretching after. Ice packs are nice too.

I saw a physical therapist who gave me some tips on strengthening the surrounding muscles to take the load off my hip joints. It works, I would recommend you try it.
