Does anyone have cryoglobulinemia, and what symptoms do you experience? Do lupus patients have this more often than healthy individuals?

The search results provided don't contain specific information about cryoglobulinemia in lupus patients. However, lupus does affect blood cells and can cause various blood-related complications.

Common blood-related issues in lupus include:
* Anemia (affecting about 50% of people with lupus)
* Low platelet counts (20-40% of people with lupus)
* Low lymphocyte counts (75-90% of people with lupus)
* Antiphospholipid antibodies that can cause blood clots

These conditions can cause symptoms like fatigue, abnormal bleeding, and increased clotting risk.

What can you do to minimize harm or dangerous symptoms?

To protect yourself and catch complications early:

* See your doctor for regular checkups that include blood cell counts to monitor your lupus
* Work with a hematologist (blood disease specialist) who can explain how lupus affects your blood cells
* Take medications as prescribed by your rheumatologist
* Pay attention to early warning signs and report them to your healthcare provider promptly
* Maintain regular blood and urine tests to assess organ function

Working with your care team to manage symptoms early can help prevent long-term damage and improve your quality of life.

Natasha, cryoglobulinemia can occur with lupus and Sjogren's (as well as with other conditions), and the symptoms can include rashes, fatigue, joint and muscle pain, kidney disease, and neuropathy. The term refers to immunoglobulins that solidify at cold temperatures, thereby reducing blood flow to tissues.

The treatment is aimed at controlling lupus, and there's no other specific treatment. Please try not to be overly alarmed, as it doesn't change what you have to do — take excellent care of yourself. I hope you soon find a rheumatologist who listens and takes care of you.😘

I don't know what's wrong again, my answer has vanished😡or I get logged out without my knowledge. It's not cool at all if you had a lot to say and can't find or retrieve your answer

Thank you Natasha and @A MyLupusTeam Member. This helps explain some of my symptoms when I encounter cold weather. I flare if I am not properly covered. Although now since starting the medications its small I still do it. I have all the symptoms that Niranjana shared except the kidney problem and I think I don't have that involvment yet because I maintain a tight control over my sugars and drink lots of water which lowers my sugar. (it also diuresis me which makes my Lupus act up). So like my Rheumy told me I walk a tight rope. Thank you Natasha and Niranjana this explains a lot for me. God bless.
