I am back as I believe i have lupus somewhere. I am getting the malar rash daily with white skin around the eyes. My mouth and nose dries up constantly also. My joints are in pain most the days. As my left hand tend to get intense sharp pains in the joints that feels like cramping or some sort. My dsdna levels were high 2 years ago but rheumatology sent me away. I have fibromyalgia and currently waiting on endometriosis diagnosis
For my daughter, it was the unexplained fevers, and with that came the butterfly rash. Lupus comes differently for everybody but keep going and pushing for a second opinion!
Has your rheumatologist given you an ANA (Anti-nuclear Antibody) test?

I had all the tests like that the only one that was elevated was the DSDNA which sparks lupus but I am fighting still for a second opinion
I seen two rheumatologist and one said he was able to see the lupus symptoms and then the original one i was referred too didnt give me a chance he was really rude he didnt want to know. Just said I was in pain because I am double jointed. He sent me back to the gp. I been fighting with them ever sonce dor a second opinion xx
