Thanks everyone, I’m currently taking 3,000 iu for the last 4 weeks, I will continue on that now I have seen what everyone says, I am just glad there are people out there to talk to. Thanks 🙏.

Absolutely, as maintaining a blood level of at least. 50 ng/dL is recommended by many experts to reduce both autoimmune activity and body pain. I take 2000 IU daily, and it helps me.

Hi James I have the same problem with absorption. On the advice of a homeopath I changed my regular Vit D3 to a liquid called K+A+D3 (it’s in Amazon) and I take two droppers full each day with some form of fat (I like peanut butter toast). This combination is supposed to be more effective in helping people like us absorb more of the vitamin. I haven’t had my blood levels checked yet but anecdotally I do feel that my mood is a bit brighter and I have a bit more energy. Hope this helps. Take care.

I don't know how much it helps but my D3 level was very low years ago and the Doctor put me on prescription D3 that brought the level up to normal. Now I take 2 1000 IU pills every day and even with that my blood level is in range but at the low level of normal. Why that is I don't know, but it seems I definitely need to take at least the 2 pills per day at 1000 IU.
