Teresa, I'm very concerned that your abdominal pain is constant and your WBC count is elevated, my friend. Please consider going to the ER to ensure there's nothing life-threatening going on rather than waiting!!! I know it's a hassle to go to the ER and they won't do anything for our lupus, but abdominal pain--especially when it's constant--must be taken seriously!
Please keep us posted.💜😘
Hi Teresa! I'm new as well, but not to lupus. Yes, the fatigue is rough. It robs you of the freedom to do simple task. You go to sleep tired and wake up tired. However upon venting to my Rheumy Doc about the fatigue, he prescribed Ambien. I was getting plenty of sleep but my body wasn't resting....go figure. After a few days I noticed a difference in my energy level. Someone suggested taking Centrum performance too. My energy level went from 30% to 60%. Although still limited at what I could do......I could do more and I was happy with that. Us Warriors are all different in what we experience regarding diagnosis, symptoms, medications etc. What works for one may not work for others. Pay close attention to what your body is telling you and listen. Simplify/adjust tasks for yourself. Know that you've got this and you are not alone.
Teresa I would definitely see an ENT. Nosebleeds and the anxiety they cause are pure hell. I had to stop drinking caffeine and any hot beverage, no chocolate, no spicy foods or condiments, no salt, and stay well hydrated. Also blow your nose ever so gently, and watch what you're breathing in. Wildfire smoke and cleaning products are big issues. Last but not least use saline spray. When it's really dry I will also put a little coconut oil in my nostrils along with the saline spray. I also found that whenstarting a bleed it helps to use Afrin mist because it constricts blood vessels. My bleeds were lasting 45 min- 1 hr+ so there was a lot of trial and error lol. Hope this helps at least a little. 💜
Thanks ill see if I can find a ride
@A MyLupusTeam Member, I'm sorry you are in so much pain and I agree with @A MyLupusTeam Member this needs to be looked into... Please allow the ER to look into this. 🤗🥰
