I struggle with tracking symptoms too. I've tried a notebook, notes apps and recently am trying a health calendar on the calendar app on my phone. I'll be curious to see what you come up with. My niece has suggested that I try Juno.

I couldn't find anything for brain fog, but I did find recommendations for apps for dementia patients. One of them may be beneficial for you.

Memory lapses are a real challenge with lupus β€” sometimes called "lupus fog" β€” so finding a good tracking system is a great step toward managing your health more effectively.

For a ticket-style tracking system, here are some options worth exploring:

- Notion β€” Free and highly customizable; you can create a database with "tickets" for symptoms, appointments, and questions for your doctor
- Trello β€” Uses a card/board system that works like tickets; great for organizing open items by category
- Microsoft To Do or Todoist β€” Simple task-based apps where each item can be its own "ticket" with notes and due dates
- Apple Notes or Google Keep β€” Basic but effective for quick logging on the go

For lupus-specific tracking, the Lupus Foundation of America offers a free downloadable tool called the Lupus Impact Tracker, which is designed to help you log symptoms and discuss them with your doctor.

A good habit is to log entries at the end of each day, noting symptoms, food, energy levels, and any questions that come up. This makes it easier to spot patterns over time and come prepared to appointments.

Always share your tracking data with your care team β€” it can be incredibly valuable for adjusting your treatment plan.
