I’ve had lots of iron infusions. No side affects. I can’t remember the name but it is the correct one if you are having MRIs.

- Swelling in the face

It's really important to tell your infusion nurse or doctor right away if any of these come up during or after treatment. For rituximab (Rituxan) infusions, body pain and aching joints during or shortly after the infusion are common. These symptoms are usually mild and tend to go away on their own fairly quickly.

Some MyLupusTeam members have shared that infusions left them exhausted and in bed for a couple of days, with lingering weakness for about a week afterward.

If side effects feel severe or just aren't going away, always reach out to your doctor. They can adjust your treatment plan or prescribe medications beforehand to help reduce the risk of reactions. 💙
