My husband and I really are analyzing social situations too. Negative people who are stressful to be around are not worth dealing with. Having lupus is hard enough without being subjected to more added stress. I'm glad my husband gets this. I'm glad you found good treatment and had family in your corner. I definitely don't want added stress that doesn't need to be there. I'm a psychologist, so I probably overanalyze everything anyway, but my husband is a good sounding board. We just decided to say no to a Christmas party because the host is an ass. My husband understands his brother feels obligated to go, but he doesn't. Just renovations on our home and moving have been trying for me, and then of course flares from rhino and noro viruses. I want more serenity in my life, and that means saying no to cruel people who others can't stand up to. My mental health is important and stress levels have been high dealing with horrible doctors, etc. I want some peace, and my lovely husband gets this. Though, I don't have any cognitive issues yet, from lupus, I certainly don't want to seek out uncomfortable situations, because I won't bite my tongue. I feel for anyone this disease could attack cognitively. They must feel so alone, even with people there in their corner. I'm glad you got to the other side of neuropsychiatric lupus intact and were or are now aware you had people there for you. I've certainly been there for family through all kinds of illnesses/financial stressors, etc. I know not everyone is equipped to really be there positively for others. It's a true gift to have good people in your life who want to be there for you. I recognize this in my husband, your father, and anyone who shows a loved one strength when they need it.

I thinks she thinks some will commit her when she was doing drugs years ago we intervene and she went to drug rehabilitation.
amy 85 year old mom has been scammed for the last 3 months this man has been calling her and telling her she won a sweep stakes and to got to walgreens and buy a gift card and call him and giver her the numbers My siistor is in the bank account with her and never notice it He been doing it for 3 months and has taken $19000 from her Yesterday morning my sister got a call from the bank from the teller that she wanted to withdraw $6000 she call my sister. we went to my moms house and found a bunch of sweepstakes mail. We told her not to give any money to anyone She said she had not spent any money and she was applying for these sweepstakes were free. We put a tracker on her phone so we could see where she is going My wife woke up this morning and saw she was at a different banks and was going from one bank to another so i call my Uncle her brother I hears them talking cause his phone was still on she said she was going there to check her balance A lie. We went over there and saw on the table a cashier check she had deposited 5000 to some one in a bank account in the back next to her bank She had lie to her brother. when we were at her house she said the man was coming to give here money.
But this is nothing as bad as my sons they are telling me about there aches a pains cause when they tell there mom about them she get angry with them on the 26 my older son had a appointment with is doctor i am going to tell him about his symptoms His speach problems. he painful back and neck. and tell him that is lupus signs his dermatitis This is making me have lupus problems

I sent my sister a message about the lupus condition she said to go to sleep she has been having problems with her gut since 2020 I am sure covid and some contribution to our illness and also 5 disease 2 year ago. after 5th. disease our eyes were badly affected . my younger sonwhoukd get a rash real fast just a second exposed to sun. The doctor said it was heat rash. Now we have constipation and older son has back pain and neck pain that comes and goes. Dark circles under there eyes that come and go. With red eyes also.
I am sure the stress about them is keeping me in flares.
My wife only Beleives in the pediatrician ant says they are perfectly Healthy. She ignores there symptoms and the messages i send her with the symptoms of lupus. There was only one Np when i stayed in hospital that saw my messages to my Rheumatologist i sent through mychart messages about my younger son with his symptoms She saw the and with the other two doctors in hospital they believed me. and told me to seek a nother pediatrician and recommend one we went to her and when i mention lupus she did not look up at me or the children and just said Bring then to a skin doctor she knew nothing about lupus Even though she is w immunologist i guess a rheumatologist and immunologist are to totally different. things.
My wife , like i said does not believe they have anything with the head aches and fevor they have My sister, Mother , Nephew , and my family caught the same covid. we all have covid at lease 2 times lupus signs happen after we got it the first covid. My sister said she begin having gut problems in 2020
I i confrout my wife about lupus she beaks in range and will start throwing furniture I tried to take one of them out of school to bring to doctor and she caught me and told me she wants to kill her self.
My only hope is with the pediatrician she likes and i bring him there for his annual on the 21 and try to give him blood test ANA

@A MyLupusTeam Member, it was scary for my Dad. I don't think that my doctors knew how to treat it. According to my records, I saw a psychiatrist more than a neurologist. It should have been the other way around since it affected my cognitive abilities. I never want to experience that again. It was a completely lost year for me because I was so physically ill in my body and mind. I do everything I can to keep my cognitive skills as sharp as possible, brain fog and all.
