I have a smoothie with banana, vanilla yogurt, skim milk, carob powder, 1 tsp peanut butter and stevia . Carob has anti inflammatory properties. Taste pretty darn good too!

As for juicing my go to Juice is Apple, carrot, cucumber, and spinach. The cucumber has diuretic properties (helps with water retention) and the spinach is a energy booster and helps keep everything moving.

I started juicing and lost a lot of weight pretty fast although I wasn't juicing for weight loss.

Smoothies as they can add lots of fiber which is filling and satisfying...also aides in bowel function better than just liquids alone. I have a large smoothie each day with usually this: vanilla flavored sugar free almond milk, frozen sugar free "Wild" (The Dole company sells them and our local Walmart store carries them due to my request....several years ago.) blue berries, natural stevia sweetener and a banana or strawberries. I lose weight with this and the wild blue berries help with inflammation and are anti-oxidant...have the highest level in fruits and vegies. I use a strong powered stick blender rather than a big regular blender....makes clean up quick and easy....the stick blender. After mixing I simply put some water and a bit of dish soap in a large container and turn the blender on.....blender clean in a flash.
The rest of the day for my lunch and evening meal I have light low calorie meals. This smoothie has helped me to lose lots of weight....It's a huge glass when finished and is really filling and satisfying.

I wasn't aware that Carob had an anti inflammatory property. Thanks for that info. I used carob many years ago....seems like I need to reacquaint myself with it. It's been a good day when a person learns something new.
