I have periods where I'm boiling hot, then freezing cold. I find myself putting on and taking of my jacket over and over again. Is this a fever? Is this lupus related? Has anyone else had experiences with this, it's really irritating.

This happens to me also, I have Raynauds and Lupus (and Sjorgrens). I notice a relationship between the big chill and pushing to hard and being exhausted. If I lay down and rest I get warm again.

This happens to me too. I have Raynaud's so my hands will turn purplish-black and go numb. Then I overheat and my hands, face and feet swell and turn an angry red. I belive that lupus affects temperature regulation, but that's just my opinion from my own experience. I also swear profusely aand then get cold and shiver. It's a struggle.

I have temp control issues, but I also have Raynaud's so as soon as my hands change temp so does my body.

@A MyLupusTeam Member It kinda has become normal for me to feel pain, be tired, swollen, etc lol as bad as that sounds when dealing with it for so long this is all the "normal" that you really become to know. I was doing really well for a long time then BAMM I had a flare Nov 2013 and it lasted a year. Still trying to get thing back on track but it's not as bad as it first was. You learn over the years what your body can take and what it can't. I think I live a pretty normal life for being a Lupie. :)
