The bottoms of my feet just underneath the toe area are extremely painful. Doctors don't seem to have a clue and each step is utter agony. Any advice?
I have the same problem it's call Peripheral Neuropathy it's the nerves that aren't working well any more !! I'v had this for 8 going on 9 years, and there's nothing that will help the pain!!
Yes my feet hurt right on my heels I soak my feet with salt warm water might help aliitle or if my feet hirts so bad I go a take a nice hot bath and leay down for a while. I do go to see the doctors and if they don' t see any wrong you might want to see a foot doctor.
Yes I have peripheral neuropathy too but not only in my feet but my legs/arms/shoulders as well. I take rx neurontin 600mg - 3 times a day. I see a neurologist/pain specialist @ Scripps Medical in LaJolla,CA AND A Rheumatoligist. Before I started taking it I was in tears everyday
It is called Lupus Peripheral Neuropathy. Have they tried Lyrica or other same type med to help you?
Oh Jeanette! I am so sorry. Like Irma, I have had this for years and it keeps me from shopping and tons of other stuff. It is peripheral neuropthathy. The doc just added Lyrica to the array of meds I take. I have noticed that it helps a little. And I will take a little just to be able to walk into the store and get a wheelchair to shop.
