It is very expensive ....organic is the healthiest way . I am formally on the autoimmune paleo diet. Basically I only eat protein and veggies. Sugar and dairy are imflamatory foods. Taking out gluten helps as well. I'm on month 6 and imp symptons are less and less as time goes on.if I can help you in any way....I am right here for you. The initial change is hard but I'm used to it now and incredibly motivated because it is working!

Changing my diet and exercising really helped to relieve my Lupus symptoms. Also drinking lots of water and cutting out or cutting back on sugar really helps๐๐๐

@A MyLupusTeam Member, it took two months to feel a significant shift. However we started understanding my cycle of triggers and chemistry within the first month. Hormones have a great deal to do with that cycle it took two months to feel a significant shift. However we started understanding my cycle of triggers and chemistry within the first month. My practitioner said it will take 4-5 solid flares before we could unwind and figure out how to preempt the flares or assuage them. I too was on a ridiculous amount of medication and found that I was not getting better and was starting to get damage in my kidneys pancreas and liver due to the medication. In addition to acupuncture and herbal prescriptions we do a lot of traction and energy work on my sacrum and hips as those are the parts that have received horrible damage. I appreciate that the doctor is a realist. As far as the permanent damage in my hips/sacreum he doesn't say we can cure or revert however we can find a way to lessen the degree of pain.
