Are you sugar free? Are you plant based? What are you doing that’s successfully lowering inflammation?
I'm sugar free, sodium free, salt free, trans fat free,
It's the best, all natural food, no fish anymore either,
the oceans are full of muck. Basically a veggie now,
and i love it. Good luck to all of you. 💟
I keep my sugar, dairy, and gluten very low. Keep carbs moderate and good fats moderately high.
I eat clean with no processed foods and a lot of fresh veggies. I try to make sure I am getting plenty of pre and pro biotics, and stay hydrated.
I only drink water, green tea, chai, and the occasional coffee.
I have to take a few supplements because I have some deficiencies that I haven't been able to correct with diet alone.
I also limit my eating window to 6 hours a day and do an occasional 24 hour fast.
I had some horrible reactions to standard treatment meds so I had to make changes.
I have been managing my Lupus and Arthritis without meds since June 2020.
It took between 3 to 6 months to see a big enough difference to realize it was a possible methodology and in less than a year I felt like a whole new person.
I also found downshiftology.com to be helpful.
@A MyLupusTeam Member, interesting that you mentioned that.. I don't have to have meat with every meal, I still enjoy meats, but I prefer the vegetables or fruits.. and I don't even buy red meats anymore although I enjoy a good steak or burger from time to time😃
I don't eat beef or pork. Deals with my thyroid issues. I eat turkey, fish 🐟, or chicken 🍗 and fruits and veggies. I love 💘 chocolate esp. Dark chocolate.
I am a work in progress. Some downfalls still.
Gluten free works for me. Have Wegmans close by. So many gluten free foods. Take care Pam.
