I have Sjogren's, Ra, and Lupus. I have extremely dry skin and lotions have started to burn. The only thing I found that doesn't burn is coconut oil. I am applying it 3 - 4 times a day.

Have your Vit B & D levels checked, I know mine are low when I scratch myself bloody and can cover my front lawn in "flakes" during july in NJ, your dr may give u a hard time about having your Vit levels checked but in my oponion you should insist.

I have very dry skin. I asked my dermatologist what to use. She said Vaseline. I didn't want to be greasy all the time. So I made my own. I use curel lotion. I put like 3 bottles of lotion and one big tub of Vaseline. I use my mixer to mix it up real good. Also coconut oil almost forgot. It feels so good to get some relief from the itching and dry skin. My skin absorbs it really fast. No greasy feeling. Works great for me. I put it on as soon as I get out of shower.

Ladies, yes!!! You're going to have to find an extra thick lotion or cream for your skin.
