Hi, to answer your question your basic eye chart, eyes drops and a little gadge to check your eye pressure. A few other machines to look through,Nothing scary or painful then Eye Dr. Will talk to you about what if anything is going on with your eyes, could be as simple as a new prescription for eye glasses.
Good Luck, hope I was helpful.
Also, if you take plaquenil, be sure to get field acuity test every three months or so.
I had the eye exam with eye charts. My eyes were dilated, and eye pressure was tested. I also had pictures of my eyes taken and a field test. They may do a field test if you are on plaquenil. I have some sensitivity to light so a few other test were done as well. Nothing was painful. Hope this helps.
Hi, when you go to see your eye doctor, make sure you have a list of ALL medical conditions and ALL Medications. If you are on Plaquinel, the eye doctor will want to do an additional test on you. I have been on. But I had problems with that medication. You aslo can have eye problems with that medication. Thank God I didn't have any problems with being on that medication. I hope you do well on all of the test. I have had glasses since junior high. I am 48. You will be fine. Just listen to what your eye doctor has to say. Good Luck. HUGS!!!
