Eat a balanced diet high in plants and low in animals. Avoid echinacea and melatonin.

It might be helpful to keep a log of the foods you eat and if they make you feel good or bad. This way you can learn which foods are your triggers. I find that sugar is a major flare contributor for me, as well as heavy fat foods. I've been gluten/ wheat free since January it hasn't really helped me joint wise but has corrected a lupus related gastro- intestinal issue I was having.

I can get so confused about what is good and what is not good! I have had so many "You Shouldn'ts, You Musts, Don't Evers and It's a GivensGivens" that I'm almost afraid to eat anything or take any supplements or, like you said, eat fruits or veggies.., It's frustrating at best!

Some say it helps. I know for me my lupus depletes my vitamins like crazy which causes other issues. Turmeric, chia seeds, calcium, vit d & b12, etc. some folks say to stay away from nightshade fruits and veggies. Hope this helps
