Has anyone else experienced body jerking this is only the second time I've had this but it keeps me up all night. And it feels like someone is shocking me and it's only when I go to sleep if I get up I'm okay the jerking stops but soon as I start to fall back asleep the jerking starts. It's very painful to.

Is the jetting in your legs n or shoulders n arms ??? If so ive had that for many years n it's called restless leg syndrome
, I was put on Requip for it n it's a blessing !! I occasionally get it during daytime too now but take my med n it goes away !!! Feels like creepy ,crawly things n small shocks n every nerve standing on end n the NEED to get up n walk n move your arms n legs are uncontrollable! !! My Dr told me years ago that this syndrome is very common with fibro myalgia n Lupus patients n i have both !!! You just feel like if someone could grab your arms n legs n pull n stretch as hard as they can , it would n does help !!! Hope this info helps someone dealing with this , love n hugs to you all, n God bless !!!!

RLS and take Gabapentin. It works well. It's almost like a song and dance routine when my legs are swinging around I'm humming and groaning too. A real twerker I am.

I get that occasionally, but never thought to link it to lupus. I think it is a nerve impulse response, but haven't checked it out. Would be interesting to get a doctor'said opinion.

I also get it but it's not painful. It's only when I lay down to go to sleep. Most of the time is my arms, hands, and shoulders. Every now and then it's my entire body as soon as I fall asleep.

I get them in both my legs and neck. They happen whenever they want. My leg twitches aren't painful but I'll tell you what the neck ones are painful
