Yes,I notice it more when my liver enzymes are elevated or during a flare.It just comes on like your an addict or something:),I take benadryl and it helps to calm it some.Hugs&Blessings.

Get one of those brushes which people use in the bath that would reach your back and the bristles would not be so harsh or will not cut your skin. I use all sorts to scratch my head nail file, grip etc but it is not good because my head becomes really sore and sometimes bleeds so I have stopped doing this now. I just put deep relief gel ibuprofen and levomenthol on it and it is good for your skin because it burns the pain and itching away.
