I keep mixing up words
You ask the best questions, @A MyLupusTeam Member.
Ask the doctor to go slowly with you. Have him/her repeat things you don't understand. Make sure that you're understood and that you understand the doctor.
Is there someone who can go with you? You can't be expected to remember everything. I don't, so my wife always goes with me.
Lupus fog affects all of us, Megan. Nothing to feel embarrassed over. Absolutely nothing. Take a written list of questions and symptoms with you. Take notes.
You must advocate for yourself. Don't take NO for an answer. Press your doctor!
Be well,
Tom
Many of the meds prescribed for autoimmune disease and cancer cause many cognitive issues. Imuran definitely causes cognitive problems for many of we lupie, @A MyLupusTeam Member.

I have that whether or not I'm on Imuran. Be sure to let your doctor know about it because in my case anyway they think something else is causing it.
Lupus fog, Fibro fog, Brain fog. Most of us here deal with it and yes, many say it is worse than the pain. Having had some type of fog for over 20 yrs now I have learned to live with it.... Being off 2 meds made it improve some. But I still write so many notes to myself..... A good night's sleep will help as well as lowering stress. Hugs :)
