I have been feeling chest pains lately. It hurts my chest to swallow, cough,and talk, and I was wondering of a yone has issues with their chest and/ or heart?
@A MyLupusTeam Member all of the time, costicondritis is common with Lupus, so are blood clots. please see a heart specialist. Hugs~
@A MyLupusTeam Member I'm in the same boat. Rheumy told me to take aspirin because of blood clots. I have appointment with pcp on the 19th.
I get them from time to time & a jabbing feeling in my left lung @A MyLupusTeam Member. I told my Rheumatologist & he said he was going to send me to my primary dr for an EKG. I take Bayer low dose aspirin to avoid any blood clots. My Rheumatologist is always making sure I'm taking my Bayer as we are very susceptible to blood clots. You should make a call to your Rheumatologist so they know you are experiencing this & he/she will direct you to what they would like you to do. This can be serious so don't delay too long 💜
I'm just really scared. I've been coughing a lot and it hurts my chest to cough and swallow and sometimes if I talk too loud (I work with 3rd graders), it hurts my chest too. 🙁
The hemotologist was trying to help me he wants me to see the cardiologist because he said he thinks I might have inflammation around my heart or a clot in my lung. I have an appointment on the 15th.
