I get this too, I do have Sjogren's and recently bought the biotene mouth wash as the store I went to didn't carry the spray, works really well! I also chew SF gum during the day to help and of course, lots of water! You could have been a little dehydrated? Hope this helps!😊

I don't know if lupus itself can cause dry mouth, I know some of the medications can, I also have Sjogrens and that causes dry eyes, nose and mouth, I carry water with me everywhere I go, I probably drink 4-5 32 ounce bottles of water every day, my dr just prescribed something for this, I haven't picked it up yet so don't know what it is.

I keep having what feels like a dry patch in my throat. It's aggravating especially in the morning and at work.

I carry something to drink with me all the time. I assumed it was the Sjogrens!!
