Florescent and halogen lights tend to affect photosensitive people. They effect me bad and when I found out I had to change all the lights in my house which made a difference. Sunscreen is suggested. I feel sick everytime I shop at Wal-Mart due to the lights and it kills my eyes.

Yes many of us have photophobia! Flourescent lights are horrible in triggering flareups of lupus and fibromyalgia. I work in academia also and I need to wear darker glasses with a special tint, long sleeves and sunscreen when at work. Really should wear a hat but that would look too weird. lol. You are not alone. If it's a bad day and my flare up is bad enough all lights bother me. I was just talking to my husband about this a few days ago. I was busy typing up something, and I kept the lights off because they were affecting me.

My eyes are very light sensitive. Also have macular degeneration tho & could be do to that add well

Heard that too wonder in there research they find that flurocent lights adds to lupus side effects again it's trial and error we r the guine pig lol but if they put in criterria could help a lot avoid taking those jobs good luck 🌺🌺🌸
