Has anyone noticed that your flares are worse in a particular month more so than others? I was looking back at my Facebook memories and noticed that September has always been a rough month for me. Never really paid attention to that so just curious.

Oh definitely! April and October! My rheumatologist says the change of seasons are the most difficult times of the year. I typically end up on prednisone in spring and fall.

Probably the change in seasons causing your low spells -- I have this twice a year, in spring (April/May) and autumn (September/October). Probably depends on where you live, too, because I am affected by changes in barometric pressure (bad weather), too.
