Has anyone heard of Dr. Brooke Goldners work?
She formally had lupus and is now lupus free.
There's a difference between being Lupus free and symptom free. All of your symptoms can be in remission and still have underlying SLE.
Yes i read it and do her smothiea every morning and eat leafy greens. I tried being vegan but it didnt change anything. I just wrote doctor g asking to be in her next class. Well see what she says. Shes very sweet.
Yeah I went into remission for 12 years, now out of remission with kidney disease, so yes it's definitely different for everyone
I was told that Lupus is incurable, I can't believe that she was diagnosed with Lupus, it could've been a misdiagnosis, and Lupus effects everyone differently, but miracles do happen, It's just that I know you can't cure Lupus by changing your diet. Something else may have happened....
I watched a webcast last week by Nourish Cafe and they claim that autoimmune diseases can be "cured" through diet, but not everyone needs the same diet. They do insist on being gluten-free and dairy free, which I'm not willing to do, so I didn't sign up. They said they will create a customized diet for you. It looked interesting, but I think it would be too hard to give up dairy. Has anyone else found a diet that is helpful?
