Mine only comes out in a flare I'm usually good in the sun but I also always have on sunblock I apply atleast twice a day depending how long I'm outside for also mine usually itches not burns but I have a orescripted cream called densidone I use for my face so safe they even use it on babys.

Mine is the same way- only during a flare and after sun exposure, and burns/itches when I get it.

Mine also itch and burn. Mine are during a flare ups my left hand and both sides of my neck.

I thought it was only called a butterfly rash if it was on your face? Bv I sometimes get body rashes but that's not what its from it is from my , m. c. t.d
