Hey Sweetie, I deal with that pain often. In speaking with my Dr ,he said its my spleen. For people like us with autoimmune diseases our spleens work harder and gets inflamed. My rheumy usually ups my pred,its something you should speak too your Dr about to be on the safe side. Hugs&Prayers

I have Costochrondritis which is inflammation in the sternum, breast bone, rib cage front and back. It was four greats ago when I thought I was having heart problems. You can get stabbing, shooting pain or just a constant pain in all those areas or just one of the above mentioned areas. I hope this helps and I hope you get relief soon.

Hello I have had Costochrondritis multiple times. It is very painful I was told to take an advil or Motrin, and may take up to a few weeks to feel better. Hope you feel better

I"m not certain if it is the same, but I get what starts out feeling like an underwire bra is irritating the heck out of the rib area right under my left breast, then it works its way into an ache under the burning feeling and lasts for about 2 days, then eases up. Comes and goes and I don't see any pattern or cause. The pain is more than annoying!

Hello.. I have also had pain in my ribs..i get it a lot when I have a flare.. It's like pluerisy..an inflammation in the lining of the ribs.. It's very painful.. Hopefully your Dr can figure it out tomorrow.. Best of luck!
