I had a trigger point injection to my elbow today, pain is better in elbow however I have complete numbness in my palm, ring finger, pinky finger and across the top of my hand, hot to touch even after having it on my clay cold pack, minimal swelling and my fine motor skills (lack there of) are comedic to my daughter. Anyone else experience this? Thank you!!
If it’s not better by morning call the Dr and let them know.
He might have hit a nerve.
Try soaking your arm in epson salt.
Yes I have. When I describe it to people they look at me like I’m crazy.
Have pain in back of shoulder that runs down my elbow and gives sharp pain in my elbow and my wrist and divers go numb and entire are gets weak sometimes. Had cortisone shots and physical therapy but still have pain.
@A MyLupusTeam Member so is it a compressed disc causing nerve pain down your arm or you actually have pain in your elbow? If it is to control nerve pain in your neck, it is weird the trigger point injections would go in your elbow. Mine were given right below my neck on my shoulder. I would get like 5 injections. If you are suffering from nerve pain in your neck, I am not surprised you are having that response for getting a shot in the elbow. Many blessings to you! I hope the epidural injections work for you! For some, it makes a huge difference.
I have thumb and pinky piano wrist they think Carole tunnel yet is not just ON FUNgoing front Dr to Dr an they do not understand😪
