It's been a while since I've been on here. Wondering if anyone has any experience with or remedies to constant colds and sinus infections? It seems I am sick with one about once a month, and then I can't get rid of them... the result being I'm nearly ALWAYS sick with maybe a week or two break in between. I currently have a sinus infection that came on almost 4 weeks ago. Finally got put on a Z-pack and cough medicine, I had maybe a day or 2 where I felt it beginning to clear up, and now… read more

Do u happen to still have your Wisdom teeth? Was going to the doctor with sinus infections at least 4 times a year. Then I finally got my Wisdom teeth removed, and voila - no more sinus infections! Haven't had one since.

Having lupus we have little to none of an immune system. I would speak with your physician and ask them how you can maintain your immune system so you won't be sick as often.

@JIGreen I totally agree. I started using my diffuser(with my essential oils) in my room has helped. And an air purifier with humidifying option works good as well. I've used both. I don't do antibiotics. I use homeopathic remedies

I used to be always sick with colds and respiratory track infections. It got better when I started with plaquenil and at the same time I started being seen by a immune allergy specialist.

I take one vaccine twice a year. And have sos meds to use. Also by myself I start taking zinc and drinking ginger tea like crazy when I see another cold coming. Prevention is key.
