Has anyone experienced trigeminal neuralgia? I’ve been having these sharp burst of pain on the left side of my skull making me feel slightly dizzy and nauseas. I’m not sure if it’s linked but I’m also having awful brain fog - difficulty finding words mid sentence and occasionally saying phrases backwards. For example the other day I asked me OH to get me some fridge from the juice which gave us a right giggle!

Yes I have suffered with Trigeminal Neuralgia many times...it is very painful and was difficult to diagnose. You can only get it on one side of the face at a time as it doesnt cross the midline of your face. I had extremely painful headaches, the inside of my mouth became swollen and None of the doctorirritated......could not chew, the affected side of my face was terribly swollen causing my eye to swell closed. I had a bad earache. I was a sad sight to look at. The nerve runs through a small hole in the ear canal and this is where the pain comes from when this nerve becomes irritated. I was sensitive to sunlight and any cold air hitting my face. None of the doctors that I consulted could figure out what was wrong with me. My chiropractor recognized the symptoms and was able to help me. At different times in my life, this would occur again switching sides of my face. It never responded to drugs. It did seem to be made worse due to stress. The symptoms would last several weeks at a time. Not sure that this will help anyone except to know that someone else gets these weird things.

I haven't experience this, but my short term memory is bad and very annoying.
Sorry to hear you are going through this, have you seen a neurologist, I did from my short term memory and she told me it was from the lupus and chemo well I am off chemo so we will see.
God bless
