Does anyone else have unexplained bouts of insane itching? Hits in the same spots on my body (upper arms, upper legs, upper chest) for no apparent reason. It is not linked to food or drink as I have kept a food diary.

Any insight will be such a blessing!

YES...As I stated in previous posts, mine is brought on by any form of UV. Like yourself, it occurs primarily in the same sites...Blessings

Thank you, everyone, for helping me feel a bit less crazy about the itching. I am using moisturizer daily, and benadryl gel on it when it gets to be too much. I have not been able to link it to food, an allergy, a product, or a med, so I will just have to manage the symptom.

I find my itching is sun related....and mainly in the same spots, too (though some covered with clothes!)....So glad it's fall now....

CatD Hi.
Yes I get very very itchy arms. Especially in the evening. Both arms have very small bumps. Not pimples but several spaced out tiny hard bumps. I don’t think it’s from UV because when I’m rarely outside, with the virus thing happening, besides I normally use sun block on my arms. Plus it seems the rest of my body isn’t effected by the sun. I’m taking the typical Lupus Meds. I have a hunch one of these drugs are giving me the reaction. Been to a dermatologist but he had no answer.
Just don’t know. I suppose I can’t complain too much as other than some sleepyness, I really haven’t gotten noticeable flare ups or other severe symptoms as others write about.
Hang in there.
