I’ve see several post about telling people what to do. They sound like we aren’t supposed to give advice or tell people what we do.
Should we not answer them? Should we not encourage people to seek medical help?

I think it's ok to give people advise in here.
I look at it as a good thing, peeps in
here are caring in their own way, just
like we're all ill in our own ways.
I've been in here since first year,
if something rubs me the wrong way
over & over, I block them so I don't
get irritated over & over. Simple life.
Blessings for a super Sunday evening Grammy.

I don't know where I would have been without the support of everyone on this website.
You are an adult, you know you aren't consulting a doctor by coming here.
By now you should also understand meds and doctors can't fix everything and you can't survive alone. We come to hear and to be heard and understood and to give our best to help our fellow lupus family. You can also learn from these amazing fighters medical advice, because we read and study and learn the hard way and with each others.

Thank you all for responding! I thought maybe we weren’t supposed to give others tips on how to get through a flare or let them know that maybe they need a new doctor.
I’ve learned a lot of “tricks” from all of you. Mostly, it’s just nice to know that all of you understand what it’s like to have a flare or that there is pain on the daily.
Blessed Be.....

I thought that was the idea, give support in whatever way we can including what works for us!

Yes we are here to support each other in this journey. I thinks okay to tell someone how a medication or something that helps you feel better. It’s up to the person to talk his or her dr about taking medication. Hope everyone has a nice evening.
