I would love to know if anyone with lupus has had gastric sleeve surgery and how was it? Do you regret it? Was the healing process long? Did you meds get lowered? Would you recommend having it? Thanks to anyone who can help me❤️
Glad to hear your eating has improved and youare waitingon the surgery. I bet you feel much better! I love my air fryer. I never did fry anything. I tried once and almost burned the house down. Lol. However, I have a problem with the sweets and pasta.
So sorry to hear that. I decided to go wait on the procedure and try to lose it myself. I’ve been intermittent fasting low carb and riding my exercise bike 3 times a week for 40 min. My sister had it done and has lost over 100lbs in a year so far but her iron levels are really low. My numbers are already low on a couple of labs so I don’t need any changes for the worst at all. Just doing it the good of fashion way and my eating has improved, I truly eat like I love myself and once I changed my mindset to that it’s so much easier for me to eat right and cleaner. I used to think treating myself to comfort foods ,sweets, cakes, and pasta was a reward for doing good Or if I felt low but truly loving myself is drinking water, eating salads, no fry foods (bought an air fryer) picking you eat veggies, fruit and going meatless sometimes.
Please do your research. My sister in law who was in her early thirties had it done. She didn't have any underlying conditions other than being over weight. She passed away a week later from it. I'm sorry for sounding like I'm trying to scare you, just please research.
