Please go to ER to find out what’s going on ! It could be your Pancreas ! Especially with the pain under your rib cage ! I’ve had several attacks with one two week stay in ICU for two weeks !! So our kidneys,Liver,Pancreas are part of the soft tissue that are affected by SLE Lupus ! Sorry you’re having a flair up !! 💜💜💜🦋🦋🦋

Hope you can get the answers sooner rather than later. I have abnormal kidney function test results every time they do my blood work. Urine always shows protein. I have interstitial cystitis as well that causes some major discomfort. I see my PCP in two weeks so I will request a referral to a Urologist. I haven't seen one since I moved to NC over a year ago. I have terrible kidney stones. I suffer from stones constantly. Uti's protein in my urine. All the same things you are going through. One extra I have is a third working kidney that gets reflux which cause so much pain. That pain you were speaking of under your rib cage...it's the kidney enlarged. God bless...hope all works out.

Hi Jeanette! I am in Franklin. I believe the nearest Rheumatologist to me will be in Ashville. I was diagnosed almost 40 years ago so I have learned the knowledge is to our benefit. I am doing better today. I pray they can get you on the correct meds to clear up that infection. My Urologist says my bladder doesn't empty out as it should and that causes frequent bladder infections. He put me on an antibiotic for one year. After I went off it I was down to only 2-3 a year instead of 7-9. Have they done a culture on your urine? Have you tried drinking cranberry juice? My Urologist told me to drink it until I got addicted to it. I hate cranberry juice! I do drink it when I'm having problems. Wishing you the best sweetie.
