Sugar seems to be the number one problem for causing pain and inflammation.

Many years ago my doctor asked me to read the book {The Inflammation Nation] and asked me to stay away from Night Shade Plants. I stopped having tomatos, potatoes, green and red peppers, and egg plant. Voila! It was the best decision ever. The pain and inflammation gone. I still thank her for this amazing advice.

99% of dairy, red meat, garlic, sprouts... all trigger BAD reactions for me, personally

The bad carbs, refined sugars. High gluten stuff. As much as i LOVE them. After a few days of them will start making me feel bloated, lower energy.

After starting a food diary for the specialist rheumatologist that is treating me for SLE and a lengthy process of elimination of food groups it was found that I needed to avoid all grains, legumes and night shade vegetables at all costs. Limited dairy intake as follows: no milk and once a week I can have 100g cheese. Protein consists of a protein shake made with water, beef 100g only once a week, 100g chicken only white meat (fillet) , 100g tuna, 100g sole, 100g basa, 6 prawns,100g kingklip 2 eggs of which only 1 egg yolk/ 2 egg whites. It’s not easy but it definitely helps with the inflammation.
