I get random night sweats. But the last two times now I wake up with cold sores also. It’s like the night sweats are getting worse. Did yours get worse? I know it’s a sign going into a flair. I’m guessing I must run a fever with them. Which is causing my cold sores to pop up. Does anyone else get cold sores after? I hate waking up soaking wet. I’m definitely looking into getting a colder mattress.

Keep a diary from day to day to track symptoms. It could be lupus or a thyroid/hormone imbalance. Are you currently on steroids, because that will do it.

Thank you. I truly believe it is hormone imbalance and the rheumatologist just keep guessing. I am down to 2.5 steroids now, he is slowly winging me off. I had stop taking evening primrose until I was diagnosed. I just started back because I am going through premenopause and I feel primrose did help with the day/night flashes.

I agree, I sweat day and night, throughout. Now I am experiencing my hands and feet get very cold randomly and my hands turns really red inside palm.

Night sweats or "move " sweats I call them. If I try to anything that requires any energy, I get very sweaty. Night time every night... My bed clothes are soaked each morning. I used to be the opposite prior to Lupus.

I woke up with cold sores today and they are painful. I’m new to Lupus. I’ve gotten them randomly the past couple years and usually never felt well with no fever. It bazaar to me. Every day I’m perplexed.
