Hi My Warriors, Since I was hospitalized 3/3/20 with 3 bloodclots. Lung, leg and jugular I have had several issues. I was hospitalized 2 mos ago for a T.I.A. Now I have this cough that has been going on for about one month. I do suffer from acid reflux and my gastro put me on meds, it had gotten better. Get that second opinion to make sure nothing else is causing this. Feel better.
I had a number of those issues and w treatment for Lupus it got much better. I was on Prednisone and Plaquenil, eventuality replacing prednisone w Cellcept. Also on Eliquis , for blood clots in the legs and lungs. I had the cough, the evening fever and sweats , severe shortness of breath, weakness. I could barely stand to eat. All that is so much better now w treatment.
That being said, maybe you aren’t getting all the meds you need for Lupus but I agree with the others above that a second opinion is a great idea
I suggest you get a second opinion from another pulmonologist.
I'm also going to have a capillaroscopy done.
My CK was 323 and the normal range is (26 - 140).
