Anyone else ever randomly get sick in the middle of the night/early morning? I feel like for years this has been happening. I will be completely fine, and then I randomly awake with nausea and vomiting. Then it subsides and I am OK. No fever, no other GI issues. Just nausea and vomiting. Am I alone in this? Ugh!!!

I have had this. Have your kidneys checked. I’m in stage 3 kidney disease. Not uncommon in lupus

I also take zofran and have had problems with phenergan and compazine.
In my case, most of my problems stem from acid reflux and other GI problems. But I've also woke up at times throwing up and a few times have even thrown up in my sleep.
I'm on pepsid and nexium

Yes, actually I was sick as a dog Sunday. I hate it! Don't want to eat, but I know if I don't I'll get a migraine on top of the nausea. Uhhhhh!
It was so bad a few summers ago I could only keep down icee, cherry flavor. Don't know why. I would just lay out on my front porch and puck all day. (Got tired of toilet)
I lost down to 113 lbs. from 150. I looked dead. My ribs hurt. I probably should have went to the hospital for iv fluids. 😕
I haven't been that bad in a while, but I still have days where it comes and goes without warning. Sucks! I take Zofran, it helps. I'm allergic to the other drug, Phenergan. That's what they normally give.

Yes! This just started happening to be this last year. I’ll feel decent all day then bam middle of the night sick like the flu or early morning. It’s so weird. Like you said it doesn’t happen all the time.
Are you on any medication? I thought maybe it was causing my night chill sweats and uncontrollable throwing up. My dr said it’s Lupus in full blown attack mode when that happens. I’ve had a lot of emotional stress-lost 3 grandparents in 9 months so my Rhumatologist said that can throw you into a flare. Also my last vaccination also threw me into a flare which I knew would happen but didn’t expect it to last this long.
We just switched my meds this week to Azathioprine (Imuran) and I’m having side effects from that too so I’m on another round of stupid steriods to calm my body down some.
