After 11 years of battling my body and new health concerns popping up with my blood pressure and kidneys, I am thinking of going to Mayo.
I have, I would definitely recommend Mayo. Be prepared to stay for as long as needed. I went with my daughter and we were there 2 weeks.
Yes ! Please pursue your health issues at Mayo Clinic! There is only one secondary to them and that is the Cleveland Clinic! That is where I go and if I had the chance I would go to Mayo instead! I encourage you to go there and I will put you first on my prayer list for doors to open that you can get help from The Mayo Clinic. Merry Christmas CALLI and be blessed.
I have been to both Mayo in Minnesota and here in Florida. The one in Jacksonville really got to the bottom of things. My Rheumatologist there was Dr, Ginsburg, Head of Department. Once he learned that a former student who he mentored, was setting up a clinic in my town, he then passed me over to him as the traveling back and forth, three to five hours one way, was being hard on my body. The student turned Rheumatologist has been as good as his Professor and Mentor. I highly recommend Mayo Jax. Be prepared to stay several days as you want to see everything through till they feel ready to say, okay, we have done what we can here.
I hope you choose to go there. Some of the best doctors in the country are at the main campus and satellite clinics. Please keep us posted.
Please let us all know how your Mayo visit works. I wish you tons of luck! I live near Baltimore, and I know Hopkins has a lupus program. I haven’t checked into it yet.
