I have had this for MANY years. It started out slightly noticeable and progressively got worse. Hylands Homeopathic dessolving tablets for Restless Leg Syndrome worked for about a year or so. Then Gabapentin. Now in addition to Gabapentin I use Pure Magnesium Oil and that has worked wonders! I mix the oil with a good cream. I put it on my legs, arms and full strength oil on my feet about an hour or so before bed. I have found much needed relief. I hope this tip helps you as much as it has helped me!

I've had restless legs syndrome for a long time. I take gabapentin and it goes away in 45 min or so. It's so strange. It's like an itch, that scratching doesn't help, it's like a pain that won't stop.

I have major RLS, especially at bedtime. I've tried everything under the sun and nothing worked. I use THC an hour before bed to get relief. Recently I had vein scleropathy done and the doctor says it may relief some of the RLS and a lot of my leg pain. I certainly hope so after the most uncomfortable procedure since giving birth!

You're right--sleep deprivation is devastating! Have you considered consulting at Mayo Clinic, where they take a unique team approach and have multiple specialists evaluate you? Hopkins might be another consideration.

I hope you and others with such severe symptoms find relief, LSK. I've not had patients who didn't respond to the usual treatments.
