I am a sole earner in my family, I have two little kids and a mom to take care of. It was already hard without the Lupus and now I feel pain often and doesn't have enough energy to work fulltime, I'm pretty stressed out and anxious. Other than feeding the family, our country also doesn't have a good insurance system that will pay for my medication. Anyone who feels the same way? Share your story or wisdom words because I need it at the moment.
Rely on the Lord. You have no other family that could help you out. How about lupus treatment studies that pay the subject to try out medical treatments for lupus.Maybe your church could help or some kind of social services or Food pantries. Just some suggestions. Don't know much about your country. No welfare services? Or social services system.

Nisi, I'm so sorry to hear of your difficult situation! It is stressful, but if possible, please try to meditate, pray, and use other relaxation techniques to reduce your stress levels and keep the disease better controlled.
If you go to part-time hours, are there any family members who may be able to help? Are there private organizations that help those with chronic illness or other government resources you may be unaware of? You have probably already considered all these options, but if not, it may be worth doing some more research.
